Style Modern Coastal Residence

The coastal residence sits in a dramatic setting, on a slope overlooking the east coast and looking back up at the escarpment. A relaxed floor plan containing 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms accessed from a large living room area. The design brief was to take maximum advantage of the dramatic views on each side of the house.

The kitchen and living area are open plan and open directly via double glassed aluminium sliding doors to the rear entertaining deck that enjoy’ s views over Coledale beach. The ceiling level over the living area and kitchen rises dramatically back towards the front of the house with a large fixed window that takes in fantastic views of the escarpment.

Using James Hardie Axon and Stria cladding to create a crisp modern look. Black coloured window frames and black powder coated aluminium sun blades offer good protection for openings and shadowing on the façade.

The modules are raised above the ground to provide protection in the event of flood and to take advantage of the lovely views.

Modwood composite decking has been used to achieve BAL 40 compliance.
