Patonga is a small coastal village on the Central Coast above Sydney. Our design aimed to emulate the relaxed effortless charm of the area. A relaxed floor plan containing 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in one wing and another wing for living areas separated by a link passage.
The internal floor area is circa 180m2. Delivered from Smithfield to Patonga in four modules for a cost of around $2,200 per module.
Using Axon cladding to create a crisp modern look. White coloured window frames and sun blades offer good protection for openings and shadowing on the façade. Selected circular feature lights provide a nautical feel.
The modules are raised above the ground to provide protection in the event of flood. They are grounded by a sandstone perimeter low wall that adds a sense of permanence.
Two modules combine to form the generous living space with 5m wide bi-fold doors opening out onto the rear deck. Black But timber features consistently with the decks, engineered timber floors, and the ceiling lining to the rear awning.
Bathroom walls are fully tiled in matte white tiles with customer selected feature tiles on the floors to add personalisation and interest. Both of the bathrooms have skylights which provide light and the feeling of space.
A plunge pool is positioned of to the side of the back deck with glass pool fencing and balustrades.
